SAO DOMINGOS, PENICHE 2008/01/09 01:57
Thought i might try a spot of POLE fishing today on the Sao Domingos. Fed a line at 12.5mtrs and 14ft deep with my crumb mix, laced with flavoured maggots.

Put an initial 3 balls in the size of an orange then continued to spray with maggots.
It took about an hour for the fish to start feeding confidently, but when they did they didn't stop.

Had 41 carp and 6 of them being 4kilo, smallest being 0.5kilo. (only one of these )

They mainly averraged between 1.5/2kilo. So all in all i had quite a good day for a winter session.

If you havn't tried the Sao Domingos, get down there, it's fishing realy well at the mo

Fished the exact same peg yesterday and used the same method but a different flavoured maggot.

Again for the first couple of hours it was slow, just a couple of fish. Once i started getting regular fish, (one every few mins)i started to put in 4 pouches of maggots everytime i put back in and the results were fantastic Didn't stop catching from that point on.

This time, ,i wasn't catching the size fish i was a couple of days ago. They was all allot smaller, even caught my first MIRROR carp from the Soa Domingos in this session (picture of it in my gallerie for those people that told me there was no Mirror's in there!)
All my fish were under 1.5 kilo. But yet again i had a net full.

So, must be the different flavoured maggots i used!!!!
