I must say since iv'e been here i havn't enjoyed my pole fishing as much as what i have since arriving in Portugal. I recently went 'pole' fishing and created quite an audience when some of the locals stopped to watch me. One carp after another ranging from 6oz to 6lb fish. Excellent fishing.

In total i had around 40kilo of good carp in 5hrs but upset a few on-lookers as i empted my keep net and it's contents back into the lake!!!

Would be nice to know if any other 'pole' anglers close to Peniche are out there. Would be nice to actually do some pole fishing with company.
