My Passion for Angling
Shortly after I bought my first pole, an old ‘LSD’ for those that remember them. Whilst still 15 yrs old at ‘Leigh Ospreys’ fishing club, my first junior national match was fast approaching. This was to be held on the Lancaster canal. I did my research and it earned me 1st in my section and 5th overall. Here on in I was seriously hooked into match fishing and winning.

I got my first job at 16yrs and fishing faded slightly due to hours working and then came the ‘Army’ and fishing some-what disappeared. Once out of the ‘Army’ I was desperate to get back into ‘match fishing’.
I joined my next club and took some serious prize money and trophies through the years and carried on doing so for the next 16yrs but never really made the ultimate move to a Senior National Team. At 37 i was working for myself and at 39 I’d had enough of England and what it was becoming.

So, here I am in beautiful Portugal, starting off a business again and looking forward to some serious fishing and selling some serious bait that I used to catch serious fish.
