Apparently, if we had gone down the week before we wouldn't have got a swim, the place was jam packed with anglers from all over. Looks like the word has got out about this fantastic water. I recently visited a water i know, knowing the water and what the carp fed on, i decided to come up with my own recipe for a boilie and have it made using our supplier, CC Moore. As you all may well know they are a great supplier of excellent ingredients and baits, with only quality products being used. On returning from the trip i can tell you i landed 9 mirror carp weighing from 5kilo to 14kilo.
